FutureHack

A ground-breaking and immersive hackathon that equipped 130 vulnerable young Australians with the skills and mindset to foster an entrepreneurial spirit for positive change.

  • Young Australians face a myriad of challenges as they navigate their transition into the workforce. Many grapple with limited access to resources, opportunities, and lack the essential life skills necessary for personal and professional growth.

Recognizing this, we embarked on a mission to address these issues head-on and empower vulnerable youth with the tools they need to thrive.

  • Over the course of two weeks, 130 participants engaged in intensive masterclasses covering the basics of business, social entrepreneurship, and essential life skills. The immersive learning experience was complemented by the presence of world-class mentors from the startup ecosystem, providing invaluable guidance and insights.

Collaborating in teams, they develop innovative solutions to the problems they identified in their communities. From addressing educational inequalities to creating sustainable solutions for environmental issues, the projects reflected the passion and creativity of the next generation.

They learned to approach problems as opportunities, think critically, and harness their collective talents for social good. The masterclasses and mentorship provided a foundation for understanding the practical aspects of business and social entrepreneurship.

    • Innovative solutions developed for real-world community challenges.

    • Participants were empowered with newfound confidence and skills.

    • Ripple effects evident as young Australians return to their communities as catalysts for positive change.

FutureHack exemplifies the power of collaborative learning and mentorship, showcasing the potential for a brighter future when young Australians are equipped with the right tools and mindset.
