Our journey.

In 2017, we dreamt of a world where disadvantaged youth had the skills, mindset, and network they needed to thrive in the workforce. With this goal in mind, we launched Future Minds Network as a social enterprise.

Over the course of seven impactful years, we worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between opportunity and aspiration. Through our employability and entrepreneurial skills programs, we empowered culturally marginalised, gender-diverse and migrant youth to learn job-ready skills in over 30 schools across Australia.

However, we recognised that our mission needed to evolve. Despite our efforts to upskill vulnerable young people, we realized that systemic change was necessary to truly address the root causes of unemployment. It became clear that in order to create sustainable change, we needed to engage with employers and governments to transform the landscape of employment opportunities.

With this realisation, Future Minds Network underwent a significant pivot, shifting its focus towards supporting government and corporate entities in creating more inclusive and equitable youth employment practices. At the same time, we understood that there were still significant barriers facing the communities we initially set out to support.

The evolution

In July 2023, we decided to separate our work in to two entities.

We created Future Minds Network Limited (Ltd) - a dedicated organisation committed to continuing our work with vulnerable communities. We remain steadfast in our mission to support marginalised and disadvantaged individuals who experience significant barriers to obtain and maintain employment.

Meanwhile, Future Minds Network pursues its ambitious goal of mobilising governments, corporates and institutions to solve the workforce crisis.

As we forge ahead into the future, we remain committed to our core values of empowerment, inclusivity, and opportunity. Together, we strive to build a world where every young person has the support and resources they need to carve their own path to success.

Our new (and old) mission.

Future Minds Network Ltd empowers vulnerable young Australians to overcome barriers to employment. We deliver employability programs and life skills training to help disadvantaged young people to build financial resilience, cultural belonging, and grow self-reliance for a brighter future.
